3 Reasons why Lee Chong Wei lost to Lin Dan

  1. Lee Chong Wei applied the wrong tactics in his game against Lin Dan. Lee Chong Wei should have gone for the attack from the start!
  2. Lee Chong Wei was mentally unprepared; he failed to realize that his game against Lin Dan was the Final of the Olympics Men’s Singles Badminton event!
  3. Lee Chong Wei made too many unforced errors much to the delight of Lin Dan!

Conclusion:

BAM should get a better coach for Lee Chong Wei. Get a new coach that can turn Lee Chong Wei into a merciless killing machine that will go for the kill at the slightest chance. No more stupid strokes and fancy badminton skills not only for Lee Chong Wei but also for the rest of our Malaysian badminton players!

The end of the road for Perak Football Association

It is the end of the road for Perak Football Association in the 2007-2008 Malaysian football season.

Perak football team had been kicked in the butt in the 2007-2008 Malaysian Super League and FA Cup football competitions. Yesterday night, Kedah gave Perak another good kick in the butt and sent Perak bundling out of the 2008 Malaysia Cup football competition.

See, I already told you Perak football fans that Perak has no hope of winning the 2008 Malaysia Cup. I was right!

This is my tribute to the fallen bosses and administrators of Perak Football Association. This is my 21 Gun Salute for you guys!

As for our Perak football players, you guys have given your best. Walk talk and tell everyone that Perak failed to capture honors and win Cups because of poor management. Wash your hands and point fingers to your bosses and administrators!

Don’t waste your hard earned cash on Perak Football Association

Yes, I’m back once again but only temporarily. I’m on a short break right now, giving me the chance to do some snooping and find out what the f*ck is wrong with Perak Football Association.

I will have more on Perak Football Association’s problems in the next coming days. For the time being; let’s talk about money. Apparently money is the number one problem plaguing Perak Football Association right now. Of course, the whole country now knows that Perak Football Association is in deep financial shit.

I must say here today that I was really surprised to hear the news about Perak Football Association’s financial problem a few months back! The great and all mighty Perak Football Association in a financial crisis!?

Sounds hard to believe but it is true!

Too bad I could not seek more information about it then. I was stuck with my freelancing job and stationed somewhere outside the country. I could only read all about it from the news.

Now that I’m back in Perak, I got a better picture of what is really going on with Perak Football Association. But let’s talk about it some other time. Let’s talk about those thinking of setting up funds to help Perak Football Association in their dire needs.

Come on Perak football fans. What the f*ck for!?

I would like to remind Perak football fans that Perak Football Association is an association, not a f*cking football club. Football clubs are different. Football club members can enjoy lots of benefits, even lets you buy club shares!

Do you have any shares in Perak Football Association?

Of course not, because Perak Football Association is not a f*cking football club! You have nothing to gain from Perak Football Association.

Don’t be BODOH YOB BODOH, Perak football fans. Perak Football Association’s financial problem is not your problem. It is their f*cking problem. Let them find money on their own.

If Perak Football Association cannot solve their financial problem on their own, those given the responsibility to manage the administration of the association should resign and let others more capable do their jobs!

MLS All-Stars beat West Ham & David Beckham is their hero

It was a very close match but MLS All-Stars managed to beat West Ham in the end. David Beckham in his first MLS All-Star game did not score any goals but his contributions were praised all over by American sports media. I have a news clip showing just that down below. Good for you, Beckham!

By the way, my internet-savvy cousin told me to try out Twitter and I have placed a Twitter badge on my blog. I’m still trying to figure out what Twitter is really all about but so far I find it pretty cool. Great for networking!

Peter Shilton says that Beckham cannot do it

If there is one thing I don’t like about English soccer, it would be their pompous and arrogant former soccer stars such as Peter Shilton who recently said that David Beckham simply could not do it.

Could not do what? Bending the ball like he used to?

No! No! Peter Shilton said that David Beckham would not be able to beat his record 125 caps for England, just 23 more than David Beckham’s current caps.

Come on Shilton, give your fellow Englishman some support, will ya! David Beckham is an exemplary soccer player, so let him finish his career with a little bang. He has done much for England and he deserves some credit. Besides, we’re all sick and tired of your stinking record, Peter Shilton!

Bwah! Ha! Ha!

Cristiano Ronaldo caught shopping in Los Angeles!

Ha! Ha! I have a stupid video for fans of Manchester United’s pretty boy Cristiano Ronaldo. He was caught red handed on video, shopping for who-knows-what (girls perhaps!) in Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles!

Enjoy!

Osama Bin Laden is about to own Newcastle United!?

What!? Osama Bin Laden, The Osama Bin Laden will own Newcastle United!?

How I wish it could be that way but I’m afraid the headline is only half true. I don’t think it would ever happen since fans of The Magpies@The Toon are making a lot of noise about it. You guys should know those Toon Army goons by now, they have quite a reputation. :-)

Real Madrid willing to pay $133 million for Ronaldo!?

What the f*ck!? $133 million for that pretty boy Ronaldo?

That’s a ridiculous amount of money to get a soccer player but I guess Manchester United won’t be complaining about it. Real Madrid’s offer is simply irresistible, I doubt Manchester United can ignore Real Madrid’s offer any longer!

I wonder what would happen to Manchester United if Cristiano Ronaldo is no longer with them. The end of the Theatre of Dreams perhaps! :-)

How much money have you wasted for Perak Football Association?

Yes, Duke is back to create more positive and beneficial havoc for Perak football/soccer fans! Ha! Ha! Ha!

First of all, I would like to apologize for my long absence. I was busy flying in and out the county in the last few weeks. I have an ongoing field assignment that requires me to be in Malaysia and some other countries from time to time. It is indeed very tiring for me but I have to keep on earning money to finance my flamboyant lifestyle! :-)

So, Perak Football Association and their proud and precious English football coach will be quite busy from today onwards. The 2007-2008 Malaysia Cup campaign starts later tonight and Perak will be playing against Perlis at home.

Sorry Steve Darby, I won’t be watching you and your players this time around and that brings me to this magical question; how much money have you wasted for Perak Football Association in the 2007-2008 Malaysian football/soccer season?

Thousands of ringgits? Hundreds of ringgits?

You must be the most stupid Perak football fan ever if you have wasted thousands or hundreds of ringgits to watch Perak playing home or away games in the 2007-2008 Malaysian football/soccer season.

Tell me Perak football/soccer fans; are you happy with the kind of football/soccer that Perak had been playing under the tutelage of an English soccer coach in the recent 2008 Malaysian FA Cup and Super League competition?

Nobody is happy and the scenario will continue in the 2007-2008 Malaysia Cup football/soccer competition!

Let me assure you that Perak will not be able to get to the Final of the 2007-2008 Malaysia Cup competition. Perak will fail midway, perhaps in the quarter or semi finals.

Look here Perak football/soccer fans. You are not getting anything from Perak Football Association. You stand to gain nothing by going to the stadiums to watch Perak play silly football/soccer other than the hope that you will get to see entertaining football/soccer.

If you are not happy with the kind of entertainment that Perak has given you in the past, do you think you that you would be happy in the near future especially when Steve Darby and his bunch of clueless players are still around?

Besides Perak football/soccer fans, life is getting much more difficult for you nowadays. Please remember that you have fork out more money at your petrol pumps after the recent fuel price hike. Think of your wife and kids at home.

Save money, Perak football/soccer fans. Stay at home and just watch live and entertaining Euro 2008 football/soccer matches on your television channels.

Let me end this stinking post by saying that helping yourself is 100 times better than helping Perak Football Association.

Perak FA will be slaughtered in the 2008 AFC Cup Quarter-Finals!

Congratulations to Perak who managed to qualify for the 2008 AFC Cup Quarter-Finals! Marvelous! :-P

Perak Football Association’s pride and soul, their English football/soccer head coach who has the balls to ask Malaysia to consider legalizing football betting (Steve Darby) will no doubt use the insignificant victory to make a lot of noise in the next few days. I would not be surprised if Steve Darby does a lot of bragging to the press to save his neck. Watch out for his usual bigger-than-life and incredible statements in the newspapers!

Perak football/soccer fans; please do not get too excited about Perak’s ‘stylish’ victory against Singapore Armed Forces last night. Singapore Armed already has qualified for the quarter-finals, remember? They rested their star players and fielded second stringers very much to the joy of those disappointing Perak football/soccer players. It would have been a totally different story if Singapore Armed Forces had fielded their best team last night.

Perak’s win last night was no big deal! Nothing to shout about!

One other thing, Perak football/soccer fans; please do not hope for miracles in the 2008 AFC Cup quarter-finals. Perak will not advance any further than the quarter-finals. Those wanted to see Perak humiliated and get kicked in the butt once and for all in the 2008 AFC Cup will get their chance soon. Book makers all over Asia are already predicting that Perak and their prized ‘seladangs’ will be slaughtered in the 2008 AFC Cup quarter-finals!

Perak FA and Steve Darby slaughtered! This is something I got to see! Yeah!

What went wrong for Perak FA in the 2007-2008 football season?

Honestly, I really didn’t want to do this since I’m sick and tired of writing about pathetic and darn right puking Perak football. But since those idiots over at Yob4ever Dot Com and Perak FA Dot Net failed to provide Perak football/soccer fans with some kind of analysis on Perak’s failure to capture any glory in the 2007-2008 Malaysian Super League and 2008 Malaysian FA Cup football/soccer competitions, I have no other choice but to share what I know with the whole world.

Now, this is not something that I made up on my own. My job gives me the opportunity to get close with football/soccer pundits and coaches; they were the ones who provided me with their analysis and commentaries which I must say are not that far off from my own personal views.

Perak football/soccer fans in general blamed Perak’s blunt attack and weak defense as the major causes for Perak’s failure to capture any honors in the 2007-2008 Malaysian Super League and 2008 Malaysian FA Cup football/soccer competitions. Local football/soccer pundits and coaches however have highlighted something different. They unanimously put the blame to Perak’s engine room! Perak midfielders! Local football/soccer pundits and coaches all agreed that Perak midfielders lack speed, creativity and courage. Let’s take a look at this one by one.

Lack of Speed

Just take a look at our current set of midfielders. They are either too short, lack physical strength or did not have the speed to pounce on opportunities and provide support in defense! I’m not really surprised with this point brought up by local football/soccer pundits and coaches. I have voiced this so many times in the past but then nobody wants to listen. Perak midfielders are a big joke, just accept it!

Lack of Creativity

It is the same old stupid story with our Perak midfielders. They have nothing new to show off, same old tactics and tricks that opponents have seen for so many seasons. Everybody knows that Ahmad Shahrul Azhar is an attacking midfielder cum backup striker. Everybody knows that Shahrulnizam Mustapa or Danial Fadzly is a winger that provides deep penetrating runs (doesn’t work most of time!). Suffice to say that everybody knows Perak’s midfielders inside out!

Lack of Courage

I guess this is something that is plaguing Arsenal as well, the absence of courage to play the ball. Perak like Arsenal; tends to make too many passes. Thus giving opponents the opportunity to read their game plan and kill it with ease. Perak midfielders rely too much on their center forwards to deliver the goals and they are quite hesitant to play the ball by going further forward and create chances on their own. Perak midfielders should take a look and learn a thing or two from Kedah’s and Negeri Sembilan’s midfielders. Kedah’s and Negeri Sembilan’s midfielders are hungry for goals and they have the courage to go forward and create them on their own.

The good news is that one Perak midfielder received tremendous praises from local football/soccer pundits and coaches. The lucky midfielder is none other than Mohamad Hardi Jaffar! Yes, he has enormous potential and I hope that Perak FA will try to keep him here with Perak in the next few seasons.

Even though local football/soccer pundits and coaches have pinpointed the problem that is causing much disappointment to Perak football/soccer fans, this doesn’t mean that we should go all out and condemn them. The problem lies in their smooth English-speaking head coach who failed to provide proper trainings and football/soccer drills not only to Perak’s midfielders to also to the rest of Perak’s football/soccer players. The problem lies in Steve Darby!

The question that remains now is whether or not Perak Football Association has the balls to admit that they have chosen the wrong football/soccer coach and willing to sack Steve Darby and replace him someone better.

Udah le Yob, Mat Saleh mangkor! Ambik je coach tempatan!

Well done, Perak FA! Bravo Yob4ever Dot Com!

Last Sunday night was a glorious night for Perak Football Association, Steve Darby and Perak football/soccer fans. It was the night where Perak finally confirmed their glorious fifth placing in the recently concluded 2007-2008 Malaysian Super League football/soccer season!

Yes, it was a memorable night alright. Perak had created a new glorious history in the Malaysian Super League football/soccer competition. Perak football/soccer fans from Kg. Manjoi to Tanjung Malim must have been jumping for joy when the news about Perak’s latest accomplishment hit their towns. Hooray!

Perak’s worst placing in past Malaysian Super League football/soccer competitions was fourth. That was way back in 2004 when the competition was first introduced by Football Association of Malaysia. The past record is now history. It has been gloriously broken in the recently concluded 2007-2008 Malaysian Super League football/soccer season. It is not easy to break great records and we should consider this new achievement as an accomplishment of Olympic proportion!

It is a fitting finale for Perak. Please do not forget that Perak has also achieved another glorious accomplishment in the on-going 2008 Malaysian FA Cup competition. Perak was kind of enough to let Selangor (a team many idiots at Yob4ever Dot Com consider as an Ayam-brand team) kicked their butts out of the competition in the early second round! Simply marvelous! (like Englishmen used to say).

None of the above glory could be accomplished if not for the ingenuity and wisdom of Perak’s English football/soccer coach, Steve Darby. Yes, he has tremendous vision for Perak and he certainly has proven it this year. The Englishman even had the neuron brains to suggest that Malaysia should consider legalizing football betting a few weeks ago. Isn’t he a true genius?

Let me end this over-praising post that doesn’t make any sense to your senses (even those idiots over at Yob4ever Dot Com will find this strange) with a big hug full of love for Perak Football Association and their pride and soul, Steve Darby. Thank you, Perak FA! Thank you for giving us another fine memory of Perak football/soccer for all Yobs and Yongs.

Boleh kejor lagi ke Yob!?

Go and eat English sandwich with tempoyak, Yob4ever’s Dato T!

This is my response to a post posted by Dato T on the Kelantanese-owned Yob4ever Dot Com on May 1st 2008. This Dato T fellow is probably the same Dato T that acts as the bouncer cum moderator for Yob4ever Dot Com’s forum. Other than that, I really don’t give a damn!

In his post, Dato T voiced his anger and disappointment with Perak football/soccer fans that have stayed away from watching Perak home matches, leaving Perak stadium very much empty. Well done Perak football/soccer fans! Your mass boycott is very timely and you should continue your boycotts until Perak Football Association has kicked out their pride and soul that has given us Yobs and Yongs much torment and misery, Steve Darby.

It is obvious that Dato T is a ‘blind’ man. He failed to see the reasons why Perak football/soccer fans boycotted home and away matches involving Perak. Perak football/soccer fans certainly didn’t expect their team to win every football/soccer matches. We only want to see our team play exceptional and entertaining football, nothing more than that. Under Steve Darby, Perak is more like a team of English circus clowns! Boo! Hoo! Hoo!

Perak football/soccer fans are not stupid. They are not going to waste their hard-earned money to watch silly English circus clowns playing football!

In his post, Dato T also flexed his biceps and boldly condemned a few Perak football/soccer players. Sure, we are all disappointed with their performance so far but we should not criticize them like that. They have tried very hard to bring victory for Perak; there is no doubt about that. We cannot simply blame our football/soccer players like what you have done, Dato T.

Open up your eyes, Dato T!

I know you have eyes but you purposely didn’t want to use them because you want to protect your rice bowl that is nicely ‘looked after’ by Perak Football Association and Ever Well Sports (M) Sdn. Bhd. You think I don’t know what Yob4ever Dot Com stands to gain with their alliance with those two organizations?

Do you think we are stupid!?

Tell me Dato T, who is responsible for providing Perak football/soccer players with the right football/soccer trainings that can improve their fitness levels and individual football/soccer skills?

Tell me Dato T, who is responsible for providing Perak football/soccer players with the right football/soccer drills that can create a winning team?

Let me answer those questions for you, Dato T. It is none other than the English football/soccer coach infamously known as Steve Darby who has the balls to ask Malaysia to consider legalizing football betting a few days ago!

If you really want to criticize or condemn our football/soccer team, your criticism and condemnation must be targeted at the right guy and that guy is Steve Darby. Comprende?

PerakFA Dot Net suffering from denial syndrome

‘Perak terus lakar kemenangan’

That was the big headline splashed at the home page of PerakFA Dot Net yesterday celebrating Perak’s big win against Maldives’s New Radiant FC in the on-going 2008 AFC Cup football/soccer tournament.

Come on PerakFA Dot Net, I know you think that Perak football/soccer fans are stupid but do you really think that they are that stupid to believe that Perak is doing so damn well this season?

What is your particular problem, PerakFA Dot Net?

Can’t you see that Perak is doing badly this season?

Have you forgotten that Perak has failed miserably in the 2007-2008 Malaysian Super League football/soccer season?

Have you forgotten that Perak was pathetically kicked out of the 2008 Malaysian FA Cup football/soccer tournament?

Where are your commentaries on the above two failures? What happened to your analysis?

All I can see so far is that you people over at PerakFA Dot Net only seems to care about bringing good news to Perak football/soccer fans.

What about all those bad news!?

We are not stupid, PerakFA Dot Net! We all know that Perak under the coaching of Steve Darby has performed far worst than what we have seen under Toni Netto. Perak is a big disappointment in the 2007-2008 football/season and Steve Darby should be held solely responsible for bringing shame and misery for Perak.

Perak football/soccer fans; let us continue our boycott. Boycott Yob Boycott!

Legalize football betting? Steve Darby has gone too far!

What the fu*k!?

Like any other arrogant and pompous Englishman, Steve Darby has the audacity to tell Malaysians to legalize football/soccer betting!

Can somebody at Perak Football Association ask Steve Darby, their flamboyant English football/soccer to keep his mouth shut and make him see that he is currently plying his trade here in Malaysia where majority of the citizens are Muslims?!

Football/soccer betting is another form of gambling and that is something that we cannot do and will never do. Perhaps it is time for Perak Football Association to seriously consider terminating his contract; he has gone way too far this time!

What about those lovers and admirers of Steve Darby over at Yob4ever Dot Com? What is your stand on this matter?

I’ll be waiting for Perak Football Association’s reaction to this matter. If they failed to reprimand their obnoxious English football/soccer coach, I will use everything in my power to raise this matter straight to the attention of the Football Association of Malaysia!

The end of the English football dream for Perak

Even though I am very angry with Perak Football Association for messing up our Perak football/soccer scene once too often, I could not help feeling a little sorry for them.

Perak football/soccer fans now realized that Steve Darby was not the promised Messiah that can bring glory for Perak. Rumors brewing from the corridors of chaos in the office of Perak Football Association also revealed that a lot of people are not happy with Steve Darby’s results so far.

I cannot really blame Perak Football Association for choosing the wrong Messiah to realize our football/soccer dream. Steve Darby’s resume and personal biodata is not exactly confidential, many have seen them here in Malaysia. His resume was outstanding; it was so convincingly written that any glory-seeking idiot might think that he is the right man for the job and Steve Darby certainly can boasts of his past results which were quite extraordinary. Perak Football Association in the end believed that Steve Darby and his promise of delivering fame and glory by introducing English football/soccer style to Perak can bring the desired results. They then shook hands with Steve Darby and together signed the ultimate death contract that will plunge Perak further down the slump.

Perak Football Association has conducted too many experiments that have gone bad in the past. They have tried to inject Perak with German, Brazilian and now English football/soccer styles but the results so far were far from impressive. For the record however, Toni Netto and his injection of Brazilian football/soccer style for Perak have delivered better results than what Steve Darby can show off at the moment.

Perak football/soccer fans must give Perak Football Association some good kicks on the butt, let them know that they have to stop experimenting with foreign football styles that are destructive not only to Perak but also to our Malaysian football/soccer scene. Tell them to rope in a local football/soccer coach to replace Steve Darby next season.

Perak Football Association, it is okay to dream but you idiots have to remember that only Malaysians understand Malaysians and only Perakians understand Perakians. Kedah Football Association truly believes in such policy and look at their results so far.

Are you too blind to see that, Perak Football Association?

Match-fixing? Don’t just point fingers at football players and coaches

The great and mighty Football Association of Malaysia yesterday declared an all-out war against match-fixing. I don’t want to burst Khairy Jamaluddin’s bubble of optimism but you are fighting a pointless battle. Book-makers and bookies are here to stay and it would not be easy to combat them since they are representing a multi-billion dollar industry throughout the whole world!

I wish Khairy Jamaluddin and the Football Association of Malaysia good luck nonetheless. Now, I only have one problem with FAM’s declaration of war against match-fixing.

Why do you guys at the top of the Malaysian football scene target football players and their coaches alone?

You guys have official links with Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), ask them to release records, statistics and figures of past cases of match-fixing documented from all around the world in the last 5 years.

Come on guys, book-makers or bookies are much smarter and bolder nowadays. They no longer approach football/soccer players or football/soccer coaches like they used to. The current trend is even more disturbing. There were recorded cases all over the world where we have book-makers or bookies striking up deals to fix matches with football/soccer match officials (referees, assistant referees, fourth officials and the rest).

We all know that the quality of our Malaysian football/soccer match officials sucks but is that the only way for us to explain their poor officiating? What if they were involved in match-fixings?

Khairy Jamaluddin, I know that you are a smart guy. So please ponder upon what I have said earlier and do something for the best interest of our Malaysian football/soccer scene.

Perak football players involved in match-fixing?

Nobody knows for sure but various State Football Associations in Malaysia have raised their concerns on the possibility that match-fixing is back haunting the local football scene. Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) has even received requests to establish a special task force to investigate such concerns from State Football Associations.

What about Perak football/soccer players? Anyone think that they might be involved in match-fixings?

I have heard people saying it for quite some time, mainly from sports journalists and Perak football/soccer fans themselves but I find it a little hard to believe even though Perak one time ago was made famous by a sensational match-fixing scandal way back in 1994.

No, I don’t think Perak football/soccer players are involved even though their performance so far has been quite shocking and damn disappointing. Their poor showing was caused by poor tactical and team planning and you all know who is behind it. It is none other than that smooth talking English coach, Steve Darby.

Besides, to the best of my knowledge, those walking in the corridors of chaos over at Perak Football Association so far have been good employers. Players’ salaries, perks and benefits have been delivered on time even though Perak Football Association is facing a little financial problem at the moment.

Then again, I could be wrong. I do know that Malaysian football/soccer league has attracted the attention of book-makers (bookies) all the way from Singapore, Hong Kong and even China. Technology nowadays makes it almost impossible to detect transactions leading to match-fixings. The best way to curb match-fixing is still the good old fashioned way though. Monitor bank accounts of football/soccer players and their immediate families from time to time but State Football Associations need to get court orders first before they can do that.

Let us see what happens in future matches. If Perak or any other teams suddenly turn around in a remarkable fashion and deliver spectacular results, then something is definitely wrong somewhere. The chaotic Perak Football Association can then sound the alarm and ask FAM to intervene.

What can Perak FA learn from Kedah, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan & Johor FC?

  1. Malaysian and Perak football scene can do well and deliver results without the help of foreign football/soccer coaches. All four teams (Kedah, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan & Johor FC) are coached by local football/soccer coaches and their results so far were much more impressive than Perak’s even though Perak is managed and coached by an English football/soccer coach.
  2. Perak doesn’t need experienced but expensive football/soccer players to succeed. Take a look at Kedah, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan & Johor FC. Their teams were built around young and unknown players but yet they have delivered results far superior than Perak.
  3. Perak must replace their over-the-hill football/soccer players (Khalid Jamlus for an example) with fast, young and talented players. This is something that Kedah, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan and Johor FC have in abundance and the advantage of having such players can be clearly seen from their impressive results in the current 2007-2008 Malaysian Super League football/soccer season.
  4. Results can be achieved by spending money on the right players and the right coaches. Hiring expensive foreign football/soccer coaches will not always bring the desired results and Perak should know this well enough. Perak FA’s stubbornness in accepting this simple fact has disappointed their football/soccer fans in and outside the country far too long already.
