3 Reasons why Lee Chong Wei lost to Lin Dan

SPONSORED LINKS

  1. Lee Chong Wei applied the wrong tactics in his game against Lin Dan. Lee Chong Wei should have gone for the attack from the start!
  2. Lee Chong Wei was mentally unprepared; he failed to realize that his game against Lin Dan was the Final of the Olympics Men’s Singles Badminton event!
  3. Lee Chong Wei made too many unforced errors much to the delight of Lin Dan!

Conclusion:

BAM should get a better coach for Lee Chong Wei. Get a new coach that can turn Lee Chong Wei into a merciless killing machine that will go for the kill at the slightest chance. No more stupid strokes and fancy badminton skills not only for Lee Chong Wei but also for the rest of our Malaysian badminton players!

Yup, Lin Dan was definitely a killer player. He was quick, alert, and just really good in his game. He didn't look tired either. Poor Chong Wei. But it's okay, it's still not too late. There're more Olympics to come. He could go for the gold then.

WRONG! Lee Chong Wei is mentally too weak to be in Olympic Finals. Just compare his playing in SF, he looks worst than a junior player.

Also he doesn't has the ego that makes a true champion. Why is he always look to the floor be it winning or losing the points?

Maybe he's looking for the amount of RM 1,000,000 government promised!

*addition*

Home crowds actually put more pressure on homesoil player!

Misbun was also clueless throughout the match and he doesn't even know what to say to Lee CW anymore!

Check out my space, where I already said a day before the finals that CW will lose unless he change his attitude!

Actually u all are talking rubbish. Lee chong wei played well in the finals, but lin dan make him run here and run there until he exhausted. Of course if run all over the court, surely lee chong wei will die one, no matter how skillful lee chong wei is. Lin dan hardly run at all, of course top form la.

You are an idiot, Anonymous,

Lee Chong Wei played like a 'pondan' and you said that he played well. We all saw how he played last night. There's no commitment in him and his fighting spirit was clearly absent.

Malaysian badminton players should stop playing like Punch Gunalan, Morten Frost, Prakash Padukone, Misbun Sidek and Rashid Sidek. Those good old days of playing strokes and fancy net skills are over for badminton.

To be number one, Malaysian badminton players must play fast, decisive and short badminton. Badminton has no place for sissies like Lee Chong Wei and Hafiz Hashim!

Agree that Chong Wei was not ready for final. Looked like he was in a complete shock since he step into the court from the very beginning of the game. Pressure should be on LinDan,he needs the gold to prove to his people. Chong Wei should show the spirit, and go all out. He has nothing to lose. If he has put up an "all out" spirit, no one will condemn even if he lose. Anyway, no doubt, LinDan is a super player.. it is still a good achievement for Chong Wei for bringing back the silver.

Lin Dan used drug :p Lee Chong Wei was too astounded with LD's power smash. Besides Lee Chong Wei has his own style of play. Being agresive is not always the best way to play badminton.

I think Lee's issue is mental. Tactical, physical, and technical parts of Lee's game are strong, he just caves in during the big events.
