Good news for Selangor & Dollah Salleh

Tonight is the night, the night where the Selangor soccer team has the opportunity to send Perak and their English soccer coach out of the 2008 Malaysian FA Cup soccer tournament.

I may have some wonderful news for Selangor and Dollah Salleh. News from the corridors of chaos in the office of Perak Football Association has it that Perak soccer players morale are at their lowest now after being hammered to a pulp by Kedah in their last 2007-2008 Malaysian Super league match. Perak’s super great English soccer coach Steve Darby made it even worst for the poor players, he practically condemned his soccer players (especially his defenders) for the defeat and his condemnation was splashed in major local newspapers a few days ago.

Let me just give a hint or two to that Englishman, Steve Darby. Stop picking on those Perak soccer players. They have done their jobs well and you cannot simply blame players. You are their coach and you should bear full responsibility for such humiliating defeats and failures. The problems lie in your poor preparations and let me get this into your head, your soccer tactics and formations sucks! There are times when your plan worked like a charm but we need consistency if Perak wants to be successful. You think a lot but yet you failed to use your thoughts to good use. You’re a waste of time, Steve.

Selangor and Dollah Salleh, please do us a big favor. Go for a big win tonight and send Perak out of the 2008 Malaysian FA Cup. Kicking Perak out of the FA Cup will mean that we are a step closer towards getting rid of Steve Darby next season.

Help us Selangor!

Thank you Kedah! Thank you Azraai Khor!

I am absolutely delighted to hear that Kedah had whipped Perak 5-1 in their 2007-2008 MSL soccer match held in Alor Setar yesterday night.

Congratulations Kedah! Congratulations Azraai Khor!

It must have been weird for you guys out there. After all, everybody knew that I’m a passionate Perak soccer fan. Under normal circumstances, I would have felt really bad to hear that Perak had been whipped and humiliated. Not anymore! Now, I have reasons of my own for feeling happy with Perak’s latest defeat to Kedah:
  • Azraai Khor has proven once again that local soccer coaches can outperform foreign soccer coaches such as Steve Darby any day
  • Kedah football/soccer association has also proven once again that Malay-speaking Kedah FA Officials can deliver results better than those English-speaking Perak FA Officials

Like any other Perakians; I no longer wish to see Steve Darby coach and manage Perak next season. Perak FA will surely give Steve Darby the much needed sacking if Perak failed to capture any honors in the current Malaysian Super League, FA and Malaysia Cups soccer tournaments.

So far, I can say that Kedah has ended Perak’s challenge in the current 2007-2008 MSL soccer tournament for sure last night. Selangor meanwhile has the golden opportunity to kill off Perak’s hope of winning the 2008 Malaysian FA Cup soccer tournament on March 27th in Shah Alam.

Perak no longer has any mathematical chance of winning the current 2007-2008 MSL soccer tournament and their hope of winning the 2008 Malaysian FA Cup looks pretty bleak too. Even if Steve Darby manage to win the 2008 Malaysia Cup soccer tournament for Perak, it is still not enough to convince Perak FA to retain him for another season.

Yes, Steve Darby has become a big financial liability for Perak FA (Padan muka!) and his days with Perak are now numbered and I will be the happiest person on earth if Steve Darby is no longer around next season. :-)

Come out and blow, whistleblowers! Come out and report corruptions!

Among other things, the objective of our Malaysian opposition (Barisan Alternatif) is to combat and eradicate corruptions. As someone who has seen a lot of things in the sports world, I do know that we have a lot shady dealings and corruptions in the sports organizations especially those involving football/soccer.

I personally view the current political situation as healthy, giving us the opportunity to clean up our corruption-plagued football/soccer associations. Since Penang, Perak, Kedah and Selangor are now under the rule of our Malaysian opposition, this is the best time do so.

I hereby encourage soccer players (former and current stars), soccer officials (former and current officials), soccer coaches (former and current coaches), soccer managers (former and current managers) and any other parties to come forward and present evidence of corruptions, funds embezzlements or any other shady dealings involving football/soccer associations to the attention of our Malaysian opposition. You can even bring your case straight to the newly appointed Menteri Besars (Penang, Perak, Kedah & Selangor) leading their respective states under the Barisan Alternatif banner.

Let us clean up our local football/soccer scene. It is time for us to save Malaysian football/soccer from being plundered further by greedy and power-crazy politicians.

Do you know what Perak FA did last summer? :-)

Perak FA will be sweating and panicking this week onwards?

I got interesting news for Perak soccer fans out there!

As you all know, Perak is now under the rule of a new state government made up of PAS, PKR & DAP who formed the Alternative Front (Barisan Alternatif). News from within the new corridors of power revealed that PAS, PKR & DAP are eager to look into the monetary affairs and relationships between the state government and Perak football association (Perak FA).

This incredible news apparently has rattled Perak FA from top to bottom and they are trembling in fear and suspense at the moment! Please do not piss in your pants, Perak FA. That would be very messy!

Ha! Ha! Ha!

UEFA Champions League 1st Knockout Round 2nd Leg Mar 5th – Real Madrid VS AS Roma Pics & Photos

Should have featured this yesterday but I was pretty busy with something else.

Can you imagine a soccer team in the caliber of Real Madrid got eliminated from the Knockout Round for the fourth consecutive time! Anyhow, you guys should know that I was delighted to see Real Madrid got kicked in the butt and shown the exit by AS Roma.

I never did like Real Madrid anyway. :-)

Lin Dan’s girlfriend knocked out of All-England Badminton Championship

What a shocker! Then again, she’s not 100% fit and still recuperating from her back injury. Xie Xingfang should not have played in the All-England Badminton Championship in the first place. Such defeat is bad for morale!

Li Yongbo should have been excused her from partipating. Well, that’s China for you guys out there. Glory is everything for them.

Damn!

I was hoping that Manchester United would not make it pass the first stage of the Knockout round. :-(

Guys!

Anybody interested in buying a few AC Milan (the reigning UEFA Champions League champion) shirts to commemorate their embarrassing Champions League exit and also their humiliating defeat to Arsenal?

Gunners fire up English sides in Champions League soccer

Steve Darby’s lucky English luck strikes again!

Incredible! Simply amazing!

I really don’t know what to say. Steve Darby and his lucky English luck is really something. I know Johor FC is not up to Perak’s class but still it is not easy for any team to come back from a two-goal deficit and win 3-2 on aggregate!

What sort of an English lucky charm are you using, Steve?

I have doubts that your English luck will continue to bring hope for Perak in the MLS 2007-2008 Super League soccer tournament but I would be delighted if you could prove me wrong. Keep up the good work and maybe one day you will be remembered as a genuine Barclays English Premier League-standard soccer coach who once ply his soccer trade here in Malaysia.

Congratulations to the Perak soccer boys for proving that they are indeed not a Cock-brand (Cap Ayam… How the hell did Perak soccer fans came up with such a name anyway?) soccer team. The players played as a team and that is the secret behind their amazing win over Johor FC yesterday night in Ipoh.

Johor FC can only blame themselves. Playing defensive against Perak when they know Perak will go all out to extinguish their two-goal advantage is a very bad mistake. It was Perak’s turn to kick Johor FC in the butt last night. Your FA Cup campaign is gone now, see you next year! :-)

Perlis really made headlines today. Nobody expected them to be bundled out of the Malaysian 2008 FA Cup soccer tournament in the early stage. Irfan Bakti would be pressed for answers by Perlis FA and I hope that he has a very good answer!

Other than Perak, other teams that managed to get through the first stage of the FA Cup is PDRM, Felda United, Kuala Muda NAZA, KL Plus, Kedah, Sarawak, Malacca, Penang, Selangor, NS Naza, Pahang & Proton FC.

Can Johor FC send Perak out of the FA Cup?

Tonight’s the night, guys!

Perak will be playing against Johor FC in the second round of Malaysian 2008 FA Cup soccer tournament in Ipoh. This is not going to be an easy match for Perak for they had been kicked in the butt real good by Johor FC in the first around.

Yes, it would not be easy for Perak to overturn a two-goal deficit. Perak will be playing under pressure, forced to prove to their Perak soccer fans at home that they are championship material. Steve Darby no doubt is praying hard that his lucky English luck continues tonight!

It would be disaster, a very big disaster for Perak if Johor FC sends them packing out of the Malaysian 2008 FA Cup soccer tournament tonight. It would historical and unimaginable! Another fine feather for Steve Darby’s cap!

Johor FC is in the driving seat tonight but they will be the one sent packing if they failed to capitalize on their two-goal cushion. Perhaps Johor FC will play defensively to protect their advantage but Perak in their attempt to prove to their soccer fans that they are not a Cock-brand soccer team can easily tear Johor FC apart at home. It would be interesting to see the outcome of tonight’s match.

Perak FA looks duly worried about tonight’s game. They have urged Perak soccer fans to come down to Perak Stadium and lend support to the team. Yes, Perak soccer fans should do that tonight. After all, lots of money has been siphoned out in secret from various soccer funds in Malaysia to help finance political campaigns recently. Perhaps Perak FA needs the money now to replenish their depleting money coffer. Do you know what Perak FA did last summer? :-)

Bayor Yob Bayor… Bayor Tiket Yob!

Benitez backs Liverpool to win soccer battle for fourth

I only have one question for the good old Rafa. Why fourth place?

Surely Liverpool (Spanish Legion as affectionately known among English soccer fans) can do much better than that. I’m sure Liverpool soccer fans are sick and tired of seeing their team playing third or fourth fiddle to top teams such as Arsenal and Manchester United in the English Premier League.

You have to deliver something better, Rafa…

Kaka tops soccer rich list

Interesting!

Based on personal earnings alone, Kaka is now the world’s richest soccer player. David Beckham is still the richest though if we take his marketing and sponsorship deals into consideration.

The surprise name in the list for me is Frank Lampard. He’s no longer the same player we knew one time ago. I really think that he has been overly priced!

Steve Darby’s lucky English good luck continues

Steve Darby, Perak FA, their fanatical soccer fans who usually thronged the Kelantanese-owned Yob4ever Dot Com and Seladangs in Taiping Zoo jumped with joy late yesterday evening when they heard that Selangor had failed to maintain their winning run last night in Shah Alam in their delayed soccer match against Terengganu. Selangor was forced to share points with Terengganu in a pulsating goalless match marred with two red cards! What a game!

Perak had earlier won against Perlis at home courtesy of two unimpressive opportunistic goals from Carlos A Caceres and Kg Manjoi’s top soccer hero, Khalid Jamlus. Perak’s win and Selangor’s failure to secure full points last night gave Perak the opportunity to overtake Selangor and took over their second spot. Such accomplishment is nothing to shout about since Selangor has a game in hand and they can easily overtake Perak and say bye-bye to Steve Darby in the face in the next few games.

Congratulations to the Perak soccer players who brought back cheers to their disappointed soccer fans. So far Perak has been very lucky; thanks to their talismanic English soccer head coach Steve Darby who gave soccer bookmakers nightmares with his team’s inconsistency and unpredictability.

Will Steve Darby’s lucky English good luck continues until the end of the MSL 2007-2008 Super League soccer season?

His employer, the ever foreign-coach-loving Perak FA is hoping that it would. Luck is all that matters now to Perak FA.

Azraai Khor is disappointed with the postponement

Kedah’s head soccer coach, Mohd Azraai Khor has voiced his disappointment with FAM’s decision to postpone the soccer match between Kedah and Perak scheduled on the 7th of March 2008 to March 23rd.

According to Azraai, Kedah had a very good chance to kick Perak’s juicy butt if the soccer match is played on March 7th since Perak is under tremendous pressure to perform well at the moment. The postponement will only give Barclays English Premier League-standard Perak soccer head coach Steve Darby the opportunity to turn things around for Perak.

Well Steve, I told you that you are lucky. No wonder Perak FA loves you so much. They know about your English luck better than anyone else. :-)
